There are many other physical delivery enhancements other
than Microneedles.
I am not sure why those methodologies are not yet recognized
well and widely.
I believe they are recognized. Perhaps I am not understanding your point, but as I stated in the editorial, there have been multiple delivery systems approved by the FDA that use iontophoresis, sonophoresis or heat.
Microneedles are only one means of physically breaching the stratum corneum (one can alternately use electricity, heat, or abrasives), but none of these approaches has been approved for drug delivery yet.
